About us

We are proud to have been part of Dorking’s retail landscape and an important part of its history since May 1892, when Sydney William Fuller (a keen all round sportsman and son of Arthur Fuller, a butcher in South Street, Dorking) opened his own shop in South Street selling sports goods and bicycles. In addition to selling hand-built cycles, Sydney also offered lessons in cycling.

Well over a century later, the spirit of offering a personalised service and sharing our expertise is still alive and well at Fullers!

Under the 4th generation of family ownership, SC Fuller is a well-respected retailer of an extensive range of equipment, clothing, accessories and supplies for outdoor activities and  country pursuits.

Our customers know they will find quality products carefully chosen to suit all levels of experience and budgets at Fullers – where they will also find a shared interest in the outdoor pursuits they love!

We grew up helping our father and grandfather in the shop and picked up their passion for shooting and fishing, hobbies we still regularly take part in today. We’re delighted to have our family name above the door and to have the opportunity to share our enthusiasm for the great outdoors with customers old and new.
